\"\"<\/td>\nIn 1976 I got a Steve Miller album, “Fly Like an Eagle”, and I nearly wore out the record over a tune called “Mercury Blues”. In the early 2000s I was commissioned by the city of Frutia Colorado to create some unique park benches for the town. I had recently bought a Mercury car bumper, at an automotive swap meet.<\/span><\/p>\n

I knew I wanted to use the bumper, in a bench. Complete with metallic blue powder coat and some chrome, featuring a chopped Merc as a back rest, I was humming the classic Stevie “Guitar” miller song as I was bolting on the finishing touches. <\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
